- Full design services for the development of the KIng Abdullah II Metropolitan park in Amman, Jordan

In October 2008 TPA (Thymio Papayannis and Associates Inc.) (and Dal Al Omran) have been commissioned -after an international call for tenders-  by the Greater Amman Municipality (GAM) to provide full design services for the development of a large metropolitan park (with a surface of 505.000 m²) in the mid-southern part of the city. King Abdullah II Park, which will form part of a triangle of metropolitan parks, is one of the key projects of the city of Amman expected to act as a catalyst for the urbanization of the newly incorporated southern parts of it.

TPA holds the role of masterplanner and landscaper acting as leader of a joint venture with Dar al Omran providing architectural and engineering services for the buildings and the utilities.
