.:Olympic Games Athens 2004

TPA was one of the main architects for the Athens 2004 Olympic Games. It designed 3 main Olympic stadia [Tae Kwon Do / Handball, Beach Volley and the Peace and Friendship stadium (Volleyball)]. It also designed the Boxing Stadium which, however, was not constructed, as Boxing took place at another location.

TP+A also carried out the Urban Study for the Faleron area, one of the main sites of the Athens Olympics. The whole project concerns the regeneration of the waterfront of Athens, an area of 80 hectares.
